Life Skills
At Karate
America Portage, we teach our students skills to improve their life.
These skills reward students over their lifetime far more than any
certificate we give them. Students:

Karate builds
endurance and strength. Our students each have different physical
skills, abilities and experiences. No matter if they are active in other
sports or not, karate can enhance their physical fitness.

Mental Benefits
Character is
developed over time. What we practice and how we live determines the quality
of that character. We encourage kids to be active by getting outside and
playing, trying new things, helping others, reading, and making goals for
the future. Good strong character is not a product of endless hours watching
TV or playing video games.
We provide a
safe place for our students to develop the courage to overcome challenges,
to believe in themselves and stay true to themselves. They gain integrity,
honor, and strength. |
